England Athletics Membership

The annual Sleaford Striders Adult membership fee encompasses England Athletics membership. This grants you all the advantages of being an affiliated club member, including discounts on races.

Sleaford Striders Running Vest

As part of your initial joining fee, you’ll also get a Sleaford Striders running vest as a joining gift. Priceless.

Adult Club Runs

Our main “meet” is an Adult Club Run every Thursday at 6:30pm for social running, jogging and walking (and a cheeky drink after!) We run from Sleaford Town Football Club, Eslaforde Park, Boston Rd, Sleaford.

For those who are interested in doing a little more, there are also a number of training sessions run by members (all UKA qualified) during the week.

Members Facebook

Our community uses Facebook to share regular updates on what’s going on with the club, what events are running etc. Once a member you’ll be added to the group so you can join in on the conversation.

Striders on Tour

Each year, Striders take part in a specially chosen race abroad. In 2018, over 30 members headed to Spain to take part in the Bilbao Night Race (10k, half and full Marathon). Since then we travelled to Luxembourg and Lisbon.

Next year, Striders will be heading to somewhere new!

Typically there will be a chance to compete in 10ks, a half marathon or a full marathon event.

Other Activities

Striders take part in all aspects of running including road, trail, cross county as well as track and field athletics.
