The Lincolnshire Athletic Association is the governing body for athletics in Lincolnshire. It co-ordinates the activities of athletics clubs in the county as well as linking to schools athletics. The Lincolnshire AA is affiliated to the England Athletics – East Midlands and Northern Athletics. The ‘fixtures’ show events organised by Lincolnshire clubs; district, county, regional and national championships; and representative meetings. Sleaford Striders in Cross Country and Track
Our committee includes a Cross Country Club Team Manager(s), who coordinates entries and transport etc. for events. The schedule changes each year but typically includes;

Entry is paid for by Striders. Just need your vest…and a towel.

LINCOLNSHIRE XC COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS:
This is usually a tough but incredibly rewarding (and entertaining) race, and requires wellies, a towel and a spare set of dry clothes!! FUN.
ENGLISH NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS:
For those people who love a muddy challenge why not also try the English National Cross Country Championships.
The English Cross Country Relays event normally take place in November. Please note that a team must consisting of three members.
LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY CHAMPS:
Lincolnshire County Champs is a joint event with Humberside (run over 2 days).
TOMMY CLAY TRACK & FIELD DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE:
Boston Athletics Club are hosting a series of friendly track & field events at the Princess Royal Sports Area, Boston. Events are open to all ages, with a range of different events being run at each meet. Entry fee is only £5, allowing you to compete across multiple events. Results are submitted to the Power Of 10 website (so you could get a UK ranking).
