Skegness 10k

A strong contingent of Sleaford Striders headed to the coast for this year’s Skegness 10k, with over 40 club members lining up among a total field of around 900 runners.

Conditions on the day were cold and breezy, but thankfully dry – a welcome relief for a seaside race in early-season form. The route took runners around the caravan park, and while the exposed sections made the breeze noticeable at times, it was great to be surrounded by so many fellow competitors throughout the course. The opportunity to see and support other runners along the way helped keep spirits high and legs moving.

With a lively atmosphere and plenty of Striders in attendance, it was a thoroughly enjoyable event and a fantastic club turnout. Well done to everyone who took part and proudly represented Sleaford Striders.
